How you will Achieve more with Intellia:
Intellia is searching for a Facilities Technician to join our growing organization! In this role, you will work within the operations department, including our outsourced partners and vendors, to execute and deliver in a service focused, multi-building campus. You will participate in responding to facilities issues in a 24/7 setting. You will work in a cross-functional environment that supports all of operations including Shipping and Receiving, Lab support, EH&S, Office support, and Security.
Additional responsibilities include:
Collaborate with all departments to document and deliver safety policies
Support vendors onsite and develop relationships
Participate in the 24 hour call rotation
Knowledge of HVAC is desirable.
Mechanical Ability, use of tools, ladders, etc.
Patch and paint experience desired
Knowledge of and ability to learn, multiple Building Management Systems (currently Delta entitWEB, JCI Metasys, and Siemens Apogee)
Be a pro-active member of the Ops Team, identifying issues and helping to remedy them
Perform all tasks within OSHA guidelines
Conduct routine tours of the campus noting discrepancies for correction
Lifelong learner

Ability to interact across all levels of the organization, developing relationships with internal stakeholders
Experience with engaging staff in a non-technical way

Desire to roll up your sleeves to execute plans and deliver program documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Manage projects with multiple vendors
Bi-lingual (Spanish) desired

You will report directly to the Director of Operations, in the Operations department. The Operations Department is a dedicated team of 14 individuals that work cross-functionally within Intellia to ensure the best scalable solutions are provided to our organization.
The team is currently working on site; therefore, we hope you are currently local to Cambridge MA or that you are open to relocating.
