Job Summary:
Just Salad is seeking a facilities and maintenance professional that will join our team. Under the general direction of the Facilities Director, the Facilities Associate will manage day to day maintenance tasks across all Just Salad locations in NYC and NJ, as well as work along with Facilities Director on a variety of maintenance projects.
Facilities Associate are expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with over 30 Locations across NYC and NJ.
Reports to: Facilities Director
Facilities Associate Responsibilities:
- Light construction work consisting of carpentry, framing, Sheetrock, and tile work.
- Duties include, but not limited to fixing/repairing maintenance issues related to the plumbing, heating, and A/C in the stores.
- Changing the filters, coil cleaning, drain cleaning, and condensate drain cleaning.
- Preventative maintenance will be required at all locations.
Facilities Associate Requirements:
- Communicate well and understand English directions and instructions.
- Must be able to follow instructions, complete the projects on time, work independently and well with others.
- Have a working knowledge of small hand tools and light power tools.
- Bilingual (Spanish + English) a plus (not required)
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to walk, stand, reach, and crawl around tight spaces.
