Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to operate a fork and bale clamp truck, and other heavy equipment as needed
• Perform visual inspections and take moisture tests of the product coming into the mill, record/transfer all data correctly
• Responsible for the safe and accurate unloading, loading, warehousing, and feeding of waste product
• Inventory product, coming in and finished product going out
• Assist with sorting, bale staging, and wire removal
• Properly feed materials to be used in the daily blend, to meet quality requirements.
• Ability to assist the maintenance team as the need necessitates, inspect equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, which include, but not limited to lifting, pushing, stooping, and standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 30lbs
• Must work in collaboration with management on all aspects of the mill
• Must have good communication skills as they are a common interface with internal mill customers
• Must always demonstrate safe and clean work practices
• Report immediately any unsafe work conditions, defects in equipment or possible hazards as soon as they are noticed
• Overtime may be required to meet operation needs
• Ability to work 12-hr shifts, days, nights, weekends and holidays

Required Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in an industrial setting is preferred
• Must possess independent decision making and critical thinking skills
• Must be willing to continuously learn and develop skills and knowledge of the operation
