Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Machine Operators for our client in Kernersville. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of recent experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work overtime as required.

Work Schedule: 7pm-7am, Monday-Friday (1 rotating weekday off each week)

Pay: $16/hr.

Summary of work performed

Operate and monitor extrusion lines.

Essential Functions (Major job duties}

• Operate and monitor extrusion lines.
• Operate and monitor winders for good winds.
• Monitor process parameters; inform team leaders and/or technicians of problems.
• Monitor production, winding, and creeling to ensure quality.
• Clean spools and creels.
• Creel spools properly following creeling pattern.
• Keep extruders and work area clean and organized.
• Perform every aspect of the job duties following safety rules and policies.
• Keep proper records.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by team leaders and technicians.

Education/knowledge requirements (IF APPLICABLE)

• Proficient in writing, reading, speaking, and understanding English.
• Ability to add, multiply, subtract, and divide.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with engineers and technicians.

PHYSICAL EFFORT

Ability to stand and to use hands and fingers to grasp and feel. Frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Frequent use of step ladder. Frequently overhead lifting.

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS (if applicable)

Job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts. Noise leave is usually very loud. Heat during the summer months can be strenuous. Work can also be dirty and oily.
