Extended Warranty & Wholesale Accounting Clerk

We are a growing company looking for a talented, experienced extended warranty accounting clerk to join our team

MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Process new business contracts for extended warranty and insurance products
• Process the aftermarket products and monthly reconciliation worksheet.
• Assist customers with any issues related to the cancellation of aftermarket warranty & insurance products
• Process and post cancellations (lienholder requests, customer requests, cancellations per statement); prepare refund checks for cancellation to customer or lienholder.
• Maintain the schedules and work the reconciling items on the extended warranty/insurance reconciliations.
• Process and assign wholesale titling
• Collect wholesale receivables
• Maintains the schedules related to wholesales
• Comply with federal, state, and local law as well as company policy about safeguarding all information
• Other duties that may be assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Prior automotive dealership experience a plus
• Must be detailed oriented and possess good organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
• Competent with computers, spreadsheets, and a calculator; willing to learn onsite system
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Organize reports and reconciliations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Must pass a drug test and extensive criminal background screening
• Motivated to go above and beyond the minimum standard
