Are you an experienced recruiter looking for a great company that attracts great talent?

How would you like to be our new Talent Acquisition Specialist making $70,000 - $90,000?

Your Role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll:

  • Recruit qualified candidates that fit the Morris-Jenkins culture. You’re a great judge of character, and you know how to get along with anyone!
  • Screen candidates on the phone, schedule interviews, and extend offers. You’re gonna be part of the full lifecycle of recruiting!
  • Interact with hiring managers. It’s important to get a feel for what the hiring managers are looking for. Not only that, but you’ll be working with them to schedule interviews for potential candidates.
  • Edit the applicant tracking system. We use JazzHR to handle tracking. Luckily, you’re great with details and organization!

Charlotte is located in Mecklenburg County, but Morris-Jenkins also services Gaston county, Cabarrus county, Rowan county, Union county, Iredell county, and York county (South Carolina).


The Super-Fun HR Stuff

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least two (2) years of recruiting experience
  • Post-secondary education or a College degree
  • Prior experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Demonstrated competency in Windows-based PC environment, keyboarding proficiency, internet savvy, and use of automated systems
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to write business and interoffice correspondence professionally
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to make sound hiring decisions and diffuse contentious situations
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Alignment & commitment to company values (honesty, integrity, fairness, and respect)
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional years of experience with in-house / corporate full cycle recruiting
  • HVAC and/or Service industry background
