Job description

The Homestead Assisted Living Community is looking for experienced, compassionate nurses to join our team! As a Wellness Nurse, your primary role would be to administer medications, assist residents, and chart routine and non-routine nursing observations on all residents.

Requirements

• Valid MS LPN or RN License (required)
• Experience in Senior Living setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide resident care
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living as needed.
• Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
• Take and record a patient’s medical history, blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc. accurately
• Communicates with medical staff, nursing personnel and other department directors to develop effective, accurate care plan
