Job Summary:
APTIM is currently seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer to support our Projects accross the country. Typical project assignments would include remedial action construction, removal actions, Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) removal, operation and maintenance of existing remedies, landfill capping, and site restoration. Strong interpersonal skills are required, including the ability to clearly and confidently communicate, both written and verbally, to all project team members.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Collection, documentation, compilation, and interpretation of engineering field data for management review and subsequent incorporation into project documents.
- Ensures conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures
- As part of the project team, evaluates, selects, and applies standards, techniques, procedures and criteria for technical projects.
- Provide engineering support in all phases of projects including but not limited to, site characterization, procurement, and construction.
- Ability to manage and prioritize own time to meet project deadlines; develops plans for short-term work activities in own area.
- Applies education, knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations.
- Perform all assigned tasks in strict accordance with APTIM Safety Policies and Procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Possess 0 -3 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Valid Drivers License with Clean Driving Record required.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite of software.
