Pay: $17.00/hour
Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Job Duties of the Customer Service Intake Specialist:
- Perform needs assessments and recommend action plans for new clients
- Assess and advocate for incoming clients in need
- Answer client and vendor questions regarding eligibility for Energy Assistance Programs
- Verify or assist applicants in verification of documents
- Review forms and manage client cases
- Respond to energy related emergencies and work with utility companies
- 1+ years of recent experience in Non-Profit, Case Manager, or Intake Specialist roles
- 1+ years of call center experience
- Requires a compassionate and sensitive individual that maintains a professional attitude in assisting the public sector
- Must be able to work independently and assure follow through of all dynamics of process
- Requires strong customer service and computer skills, and prefer experience with supporting causes
- Must have a HS diploma or equivalent
