DAY-TO-DAY

This full-time community vocational rehabilitation position with our human services nonprofit works during the day.

As an Employment Specialist and Job Coach with our nonprofit, you establish trust and rapport with program participants in our community. To understand their needs, strengths, interests, aptitudes, experiences, and capabilities, you conduct comprehensive intakes. Partnering with program participants, you help develop a service plan known as a Family Contract Amendment (FCA). This amendment outlines their short- and long-term employment goals. You then meet with each participant at least once a month to document progress toward their goals and ensure they're clear on program requirements. You're quick to reach out and reschedule if they ever miss a scheduled appointment.

You also collaborate with external providers to make sure participants have access to whatever services and support they need. You run reports in our FedcapCARES program and use the data you find to plan daily and weekly tasks. You're sure to follow up and provide support with tasks as needed. A true professional, you always uphold our nonprofit's policies as you work. Knowing you're making a difference in our community fills you with gratitude and pride, which is why you're perfect for this community vocational rehabilitation role in human services!
