The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Employee Relations Communication Specialist to join our team.

This role supports overall communications strategy and planning for Employee Relations engagement across the enterprise, with a focus on Labor Relations.

This position allows the candidate to be based in one of the following: Seattle, WA; Arlington, VA; Chicago, IL; Berkeley, MO; Hazelwood, MO; Mesa, AZ; Plano, TX; Philidelphia, PA; San Antonio, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Everett, WA; Auburn, WA; Bellevue, WA; Renton, WA; Herndon, VA; North Charleston, SC; El Segundo, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Long Beach, CA; Seal Beach, CA; Colorado Sprong, CP; Oklahoma City, OK; Huntsville, AL, or Ridley Park, PA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes a communications plan to support Labor Relations priorities and initiatives, including union negotiations

  • Collaborates with communicators and employee stakeholders at multiple Boeing sites to promote and foster positive Employee Relations, leveraging employee contributions to the company and aerospace industry. Topics may include: enterprise priorities, values, leadership, manufacturing and community engagement

  • Works closely with key business partners to develop and deliver strategic communications

  • Applies strategic thinking to every project and maintains a clear focus on business priorities

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience with communications planning and implementation

  • Experience in employee, internal, external or executive communications support

  • Experience developing strategic communications including leader messages, internal stories, web and social media content

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in internal, external, or executive communications support

  • Experience supporting Labor Relations or Human Resources on a regular basis

  • Prior experience in media relations or experience working with journalists


Typical Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation:

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $95,200 – $147,200
