JOB POSTING

Position: Emergency Medical Technician

Salary: $18.00/hour

Schedule: Weekday, Weekend, Overnight shifts

Status: Part time 12 hour shifts

Close Date: 05/15/2022

Duties:

• Patient care within current Connecticut Statewide Protocols during emergency responses
• Documentation using an electronic patient care report (EPCR)
• Operation of association ambulances
• Radio communications
• Restocking/inventorying of supplies and equipment
• Assisting with the care of association equipment, buildings and vehicles

Minimum Requirements:

• One year experience as a State of Connecticut EMT (for applicants that have been actively responding for less than one year exceptions may be made)
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Requirements:

• Statewide Protocol Training
• Valid CT Driver’s License with 4 years driving experience
• One (1) year emergency driving experience
• EVOC preferred but not mandatory prior to hire
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
