Job Overview:

Duties of the Embroidery Machine Operator include setting up and programming sewing machines for apparel orders while ensuring the best quality possible. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, accountable, and teachable. Prior embroidery or sewing experience is a plus, but is not required.

*This position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm (or optional 2nd Shift M-TH 3:30pm-8pm).

This position requires standing for long periods of time and working in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Program and operate multiple embroidery machines.
• Ability to watch and manage multiple sewing jobs at the same time.
• Review and inspect embroidery on garments to ensure all orders are completed on time, and consistently meeting the company's quality guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping the work area neat and complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Work cooperatively with all production personnel and departments within the overall workflow
• Ability to meet customer deadlines, including overtime when necessary.
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Detail Oriented and highly organized
• Must be a self-starter and team player

• Perform other duties as assigned by management*

Requirements:

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Able to handle large volume workload accurately and efficiently.

· Is consistently at work and on time

Work Context:

· Requires repetitive movements

· Requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, twisting, ability to carry roughly 25 lbs., and read paperwork

· Requires good vision

· Job tasks are performed in close proximity to other people

Education and Experience:

· Previous experience in garment sewing or embroidery a plus
