Acara Solutions is looking for a Technical Engineers in Clarence, NY.

Pay: $55,000-$65,000/year

Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with some overtime (can fluctuate until 6/630 depending on project)

10-15% travel will be required for field site inspection for failure analysis within a 4-hour radius.

Responsibilities:

• Design and draft the harnessing portion of every game.
• Establish scheduled timelines for all new projects and accomplish them by that date
• Work closely with software and mechanical engineers, technicians as well as production personnel
• Design with reliability, serviceability, and cost in mind.
• ETL and UL standards need to be adhered to during the design process
• Complete a costed BOM (bill of materials)
• Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs, through the application of principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry
• 3+ years of hands-on work experience in electronic repair and/or testing, performing electronic circuit analysis, repairing electronic equipment to the component level
• Prior experience comprehending technical schematics and manufacturers specifications
• Experience with soldering/de-soldering, oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters and other electronic testing equipment
• Strong fundamental knowledge of electronics and electronic circuits, including electronics manufacturing, component level troubleshooting, and test engineering
• Collaborate with team members to design, troubleshoot and repair
• Summarize data and report on failures and outputs.

Required:

• B.S or A.A.S degree and 3 to 5 years' experience.
• Proficient with and Microsoft Office & Vizio or other ECAD software
• Drafting experience, wire harnesses
• OHM'S Law knowledge as well as AC DC knowledge.
• ETL / UL standards, electronic circuits (PCB boards), schematics, soldering, oscilloscopes, digital volt meters.

Salary: Up to $65,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Microsoft Office & Vizio or other ECAD software: 1 year (Preferred)
• OHM'S Law knowledge as well as AC DC knowledge.: 1 year (Preferred)
