This position is responsiblefor complyingwith manufacturing processes to test, adjust, repair, and assemble FAA certified (PMA) parts within the scope of the approved design data and FAA approved processes as required.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with company & regulatory processes and procedures in daily activities.
- Perform manufacturing duties directed by management to meet company, PMA lab, regulatory, and customer requirements in a timely manner with first time quality.
- Proficiently and consistently locate, read, interpret, and use engineering drawings and appropriate technical data to accomplish tasks.
- Demonstrate basic understanding of electricity & electronic components, devices, and test equipment.
- Understand and comply with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety & production requirements.
- Demonstrate the ability to prepare, strip, and crimp wire. Also, properly prepare surfaces for soldering and use professional soldering techniques to attach parts.
- Accurately, legibly, properly, and thoroughly document and sign off work performed. Coordinate with QA representative to have work inspected.
- Obtain basic understanding of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) operations and operate laser & 3D printers effectively with guidance from senior technicians.
- Perform Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and Final Test Procedures (FTP) with guidance from senior technicians.
- Safely and effectively use basic hand tools, calibrated tools, and measuring devices.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on shop equipment.
- Demonstrate increased performance within current Company policies, procedures and processes with regards to parts procurement, assembly / manufacturing and tests of all PMA manufacturing aspects.
- Willingly and effectively able to learn through the OJT program to foster their development, ensure accurate work, and support the department goals.
- Support, maintain, and comply with all applicable Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Elliott Aviation's Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes.
- Perform related duties, as assigned by management.
Licenses:
- Airframe and Powerplant Certificate optional, not required
- Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements

Education and Experience:
- High school graduate or equivalency degree required
- Manufacturing & Assembly experience required
- Associates degree in electronics or equivalent experience preferred
