Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier construction contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Senior Estimator in Wilmington, DE.
Electrical Senior Estimator Compensation & Benefits
Total compensation for the Electrical Senior Estimator in Wilmington, DE is between $120,000 and $160,000 depending on experience, and may be more than this range for candidates with exceptional experience and successful history of performance.

Electrical Senior Estimator Duties & Responsibilities
- Create detailed estimates for electrical power, lighting and low voltage electrical systems.
- Will be responsible for managing all estimating processes from start to finish.
- Research to provide accurate, complete and competitive pricing
- Collaborate with clients to define the project scope, address deficiencies, negotiate pricing and nurture relationships.
- Provide training, direction and mentorship for less tenured members of the estimating team
- Create and maintain weekly bid calendar to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining the companies estimating database
- Prepare and present bid summary and review estimates with estimators, project managers and/or division managers
Electrical Senior Estimator Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of electrical estimating experience in Senior Level capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical power and lighting, medium voltage substation and distribution, preferably with pharmaceuticals, hospitals and/or data centers.
- Must have field experience as and electrician or a degree in construction management preferred
- Demonstrated strong ability to conceptually estimate electrical projects
- Experience working on Design-Build projects
- Must have experience with projects valued over
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment
- Expert level proficiency with estimating software, Accubid preferred
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient
- Able to provide a high level of customer service
