We are looking for a cleared Electrical Engineer to join our future:
The Electrical Engineer provides electrical design expertise and leadership for the entire project, from initial survey through final inspection, and may serve as the electrical discipline team leader for the project directing other engineers and designers as required and appropriate.

Responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary point of contact for electrical related project issues
- Complete project from start to finish without direction
- Conduct surveys of existing conditions
- Write technical reports
- Perform calculations, select equipment, and design systems (Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm, and Telcom/Data systems)
- Prepare project specifications
- Respond to Requests for Information during bidding and construction
- Review construction submittals
- Conduct and document Final Inspections
- Generate As-Built drawings
- Ensure all project work is completed on schedule and within budget
- Perform quality control reviews on all assigned projects as directed by the Department Head.
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years experience, and your P.E.
- Be open-minded yet tough-minded.
- Experience with design and specification of Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm, and Telecommunications systems for Commercial, Industrial, and Government projects.
- Have a an active security clearance or able to acquire a US security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in design and specification of: lighting systems, power systems, fire alarm systems, telcom/data systems, medium voltage power systems, UPS systems, emergency generator systems, grounding systems, and utility systems.
- Extensive experience with renovation and new projects for commercial, government, and institutional clients
- Have working knowledge of A&E design process and specifications leading to construction documents.
- Have experience working on LEED certified projects and/or being a LEED AP.

- Take pride in developing the next generation of engineers.
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) - preferred.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, AGI32 and SKM
- Have a security clearance.
