Job description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with the ability to design and implement electrical systems to support our company's industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a range of input and outputs, check sensors and program PLC's to improve machine functions

Responsibilities:

• Create and develop programs that will support process improvements.
• Work with the Automation Control team to diagnose and deploy code fixes.
• Provide front line issues investigation of live production control systems using Profibus/Can Bus networks, Bar Code Readers.
• Analyze data and find solutions to improve performance
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Education/Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
• Experience with PLC systems, HMI systems or distributed control systems.
• Computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook) required.
• Understanding of Control System Communication Protocols.
• Sound analytical skills; good problem-solving ability and practical approach.
• Ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent walking, bending and twisting.
• Must be able to read computer screen and communicate effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
