SCHEDULE

Full-Time

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

  • Serves as a MACU representative for personal financial education matters.
  • Creates engaging content for delivery in multiple mediums, including:
    • SEG & community presentations
    • Employee financial education
    • Individual and group seminars/webinars
    • Digital-web, mobile, social media, etc.
    • In-branch and other member service use.
  • Schedules financial education programs, collaborating with internal partners including Marketing, Talent Development, SEG Development, Branch Administration, Facilities, etc., to showcase MACU brand.
  • Facilitate and present financial education content to small and large groups with confidence, credibility, and professionalism as a representative of the Credit Union.
  • Plan engaging financial education community events.
  • Possesses and demonstrates required concepts, practices, procedures and skills in training facilitation, sales and communication in both in-person and webinar settings.
  • .
  • Collaborates with Marketing, SEG Development, and other subject matter experts in creating/updating resources for financial education by other CU leaders, providing financial tips for members, employees, etc.
  • Assist with content development which employs a call to action that is helps measure the effectiveness of financial education program.
  • Partners with Digital Banking on the financial wellness engine.
  • Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience

  • 5+ years hands-on experience in the field of training and communications or related professions.
  • Financial services experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation and training skills in a variety of group environments.
  • Instructional/curriculum development experience a plus.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Education, or related field required OR 10 years’ experience in training, facilitation, or communications position.

Language Skills
Fluency in Spanish may be required

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

  • Proficient in presentation platform software such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi or similar.
  • Proficient with personal computer, cell phone, tablet and/or related devices

Interpersonal Skills

  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
  • Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.
  • Work may involve motivating or influencing others.
  • Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Other Skills, Abilities and Requirements
Must have a valid driver’s license to drive a company fleet vehicle, and possesses your own vehicle
