Job description

DSSI is hiring EM Assemblers in the Carlsbad area. The EM assemblers should have the ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions, as well as diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents, and be a team player.

Job Duties

• Use schematics to check and set each assemblies limit and home sensors.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and work instructions to insure continue ISO certification.
• Produce products by assembling and soldering components such as switches, resister chips, capacitors and transistors on circuit boards.
• Solder bulging capacitors and exchange them with new capacitors
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly including point-to-point wiring, wring-out and cable harness layout, and basic mechanical assembly.

• Mechanical and technical skills
• Physical stamina and strength
• Safety management mindset
• Focus on quality control
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small
