Seeking:
Van Driver/Security for our Mobile Treatment Unit


Per Diem Schedule
: Early mornings 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM working on an as-needed basis.


Location:
Our mobile team will be in the Wellfleet, MA area and will serve as an expansion of our existing Yarmouth Comprehensive Treatment Center.


Our Team:
Our Mobile Comprehensive Treatment Centers are a part of Acadia Healthcare, the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation. We have expanded our treatment options in order to be able to provide much needed care for patients within the community. Our teams are equipped with counselors and dispensing nurses that the patients would need from our facility, but within our mobile unit to high-quality counseling and therapy to patients that are seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.

Your Job as an Driver/Security:
The Driver role will transport the mobile team to Wellfleet, MA then back to Yarmouth Comprehensive Treatment Center. Responsibilities include but not limited to staff to and from the clinic, taking work orders for trips, doubling as security, and operating wheelchair lifts as needed.


Your Responsibilities as a Driver:

  • Show up to work in a timely manner
  • Take work orders from supervisor for client trip
  • Drive clients to their destinations on time
  • Assist clients as they get into and out of the vehicle
  • Report back to supervisor when clients have been dropped off at their destination
  • Report traffic delays en-route back to supervisor
  • Report any incidents or accidents to supervisor
  • Operate wheelchair lifts as needed
  • Provide security measures to clinic staff and patients
Your Requirements as a Driver:
  • Maintain vehicle log(s) and report maintenance issues to appropriate facility staff.
  • Ensure all company vehicles are kept clean and functional.
  • Setting up and taking down mobile component signage upon arrival and before departure of the mobile components service location
  • Assists, directs, and monitors all persons entering and leaving the mobile component
  • Monitors patient parking area for the mobile component to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place
  • Completing Weekly Preventative Vehicle Maintenance Checklist
  • Completes defensive driving training course (course is available in the online education system “HealthStream”).
  • Annually completes defensive driving “refresher” training
  • Annually undergoes review of driving capacities
Qualifications:

Your Skills and Qualifications as an Driver/Security:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Clean, acceptable driving record with no points
  • Must be approved by facility and meet all training safety requirements of the facility
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Yearly MVRs
  • Valid State Driver’s License required
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred, not required
