Primary purpose: Transport building material packages safely to jobsites, many of which will require a Class
A or B Commercial driver’s license per DOT regulations, where the driver will then unload the products by
fork lift, tilted dump bed, or by hand as necessary. CDL drivers will also occasionally return unused material to
the lumberyard for credit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forklift Certified (or become so within 30 days)
- The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Able to learn to identify various grades of lumber and building materials
- Able to work in inclement weather
- Always work in a safe manner
- Drive DOT regulated trucks
- Place building materials on jobsite, according to Framer’s preference
- Return products for credit
- Interact with customers and sub-contractors in a friendly manner

Required:
- Possess a Class A or B Commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Have a current Medical Card
- Able to work in inclement weather
- Some computer experience
- Be willing to adapt to the changes in the building industry, willing to learn new products and processes to grow their customer base and market share
- Be focused on building trust with our customers to provide them with a positive experience, and to help grow our business
- Have a highly developed sense of urgency and timely follow-up
- Give great attention to detail and have excellent organizational skills
Strongly Preferred:
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Previous fork lift experience
- Previous work in construction or home building
