We are a Limited Liability Pet Care Company, fully insured and bonded, and dedicated to our clients happiness and satisfaction. We have over 200 clients and counting! I offer a Pet CPR/First Aid online course to each of my walkers so they are prepared for anything that may occur while an animal is in their care! We are proud to use Time to Pet software, which gives our clients an easy and organized way of scheduling services, viewing invoices, and staying connected to their pets during visits! It also allows our walkers/sitters to view their upcoming schedules and complete each task organizedly. Waggin' & Waddlin' is here to provide exceptional pet care to all of the animals in our care!
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, fun-loving dog walker to join our team! Some responsibilities include walking dogs according to times specified by dog owners, safely transporting dogs to and from their homes to field runs or hikes, providing clean water and food as required, wiping dogs’ paws when arriving home, conducting agreed upon overnight pet sits and cat-drop ins, picking up and disposing of waste, sending post walk updates through Time to Pet with some photos, taking all necessary precautions to assure the safety of all pets and those around them, and notifying clients of any unusual behaviors noted on walks or if animal becomes ill. You should also be able to problem solve on the fly in unexpected situations.
To be successful as a dog walker, you should be able to walk dogs of various sizes and breeds. Ultimately, a top-performing dog walker will comply with clients' special requests, and ensure that all dogs are treated with love and care!
Dog Walker Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Clean driving record.
- Proven experience working with dogs.
- Working knowledge of positive reinforcement training.
- Sound understanding of dog behavior.
- Available to walk dogs during peak walking times.
- The ability to walk for long periods of time.
- Patient, punctual, and reliable.
- Trustworthy and responsible.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
