Job description
Experience not required. We are looking to hire someone to train as a dog trainer for our facility in Lake Orion. We are a balanced training facility focusing on on and off leash obedience, behavior modification, and scent work. We accept all breeds and sizes so you must be comfortable around dogs of any size or breed. Pay will increase the more you learn and take on with potential to be full time. This position is ideal for someone who wants to learn to train dogs but isn't sure where to start. Reliable transportation is a must.
Duties include but not limited to
Learning to train dogs and eventually working Day Train dogs and having some private clients. You will also help with training scent work and other sport related training.
Taking dogs out to potty and cleaning up after them
Some cleaning
Playing with dogs
Interacting with and helping teach clients
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
