Distributor Stock Specialist

What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a talented and tenacious Distributor Stock Specialist that thrives in a fast-paced Sales environment to join OmniCable’s Sales Team. The role of Distributor Stock Specialist will report to the Regional Manager and be responsible for the management of the region’s distributor stock package.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Learn and become proficient with systems – Quote & Order Entry, Reporting, CRM
- Become an expert in OmniCable product offerings
- Build relationships with Customer Purchasing Managers within the Region
- Handle all incoming DSP opportunities
- Handle monthly price sheets – building and distribution
- Determine the cadence for each Customer Purchasing Manager’s buy cycle and adopt strategy to support
- Proactively pursue and follow-up on the DSP business within the Region
- Track and obtain price sheets for all competitors active in the assigned region(s)
What You’ll Need:
- Proficiency with Excel
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and build rapport within a team environment
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Wire & cable industry experience (or comparable industry experience)
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
