Job description

Cajun Crab House is seeking a dishwasher/busser for it's Merrillville, IN location. Ideal candidates for this position would be someone who has knowledge of how to use commercial cleaning products and dish washing machinery. Individual would be responsible for keeping up with dish loads to ensure the kitchen and dining room has adequate cookware and dining ware to service patrons. Individual will also need to be able to multitask and make frequent checks of the dining room to clear tables, disinfect services and reset dining tables for the next guests.

Requirements for this position include:

- The ability to bend, stand, and stoop for the duration of their work shift (6-10 hours)

- The ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs several times throughout their work shift.

- Willingness to assist kitchen staff during peak operating hours in retrieving supplies from the prep or food storage areas.
