Job description
Our company is seeking dishwashers with a strong work ethic and willingness to keep an open mind. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a casual dining restaurant, be flexible with working hours and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Dishwashers are responsible for cleaning dishes and kitchen utensils and assisting the cooks with preparing food. This position requires a great deal of physical labor, so the ideal candidate must be physically fit.
Responsibilities:
- Follow a predetermined sequence of steps for washing dishes and setting up for the next person.
- Follow the chemical sanitizing cycle by putting the correct amount of chemicals used in the dishwashing process.
- Use a sanitizing rinse to clean a sink or dish area.
- Deal with high stress situations while dealing with people who are pushing you to hurry up.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds over your head and place on top rack of an oven or dishwasher.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
