We're hiring a strategic, energetic sales leader to lead our strategic direction in the Value Channel r (Dollar General & Hard Discounters, Aldi, Lidl). This person oversees the overall development and growth of the Tropicana portfolio, setting the strategic operating plan with these important and growing customers, and overall ownership of the customer P&L.
Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Leads and develops the customer Annual Operating Plans to deliver Gross sales, Net Revenue, Share, Executional Key Performance Indicator's (KPI), and sales targets. This process is done collaboratively with the customer as part of the annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) process.
- P&L responsibility.
- Achieve Retail sales volume, revenue, and profitability goals.
- Develops winning partnerships with the customer and with internal Tropicana stakeholders by influencing and penetrating multiple levels within both organizations.
- Leads cross-functionally with sales strategy, category management, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure delivery of relevant innovation and key initiatives.
- Leads all aspects of customer's JBP process, including strategic and tactical plans, while ensuring Sr. Leadership engagement and alignment.
- Ability to integrate customer and Tropicana priorities, thinking outside the box, to deliver growth.
- Provides customer/channel expertise and leadership to drive the development of appropriate strategic and tactical plans within the business unit.
- Manages all aspects of planning, merchandising, forecasting and check book management as well as timely communication to all appropriate stakeholders on these critical tasks.
- Provides leadership and development of direct report.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
- A minimum of 7 years of sales experience; preferably in a consumer packaged goods organization
- A minimum of 5 years of people management experience

- Solid understanding of financials including P&L impact of sales decisions.
- Ability to solve problems by leveraging multi-function support (finance, supply chain, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills with ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems by leveraging multiple function support.
- Strong computer and presentation skills: development of compelling stories and presenting those concepts to all levels of internal and external organizations.
- Superior presentation skills, ability to present at all levels within customer and internal organization.
