At Zeta, the Director, Product Content Strategy will manage the development of product content, strategy and positioning. This role will deliver compelling content in the form of sales and marketing collateral, website copy, and product stories that can impact middle and bottom of funnel activity. Deliver client success stories via case studies and product thought leadership via blogs, e-books and bylines. You'll be a key partner to Zeta's Corporate Marketing and Sales Enablement teams by providing input and direction on campaign messaging, content marketing strategy and sales support materials.

Reporting to the Group VP of Product Marketing, you will drive the product messaging and stories that will drive go-to-market strategy. You will be surrounded by bright, strategic thinkers with the autonomy to develop key messaging and inspiring content. You will also work with fellow product marketing managers to ensure the highest level of content quality and consistency across all of our materials as well as those developed in partnership with Corporate Marketing and Sales.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own product content and Zeta's product messaging framework which guides content strategy and message development across the team and supports Zeta's overarching corporate messaging framework.
  • Create and maintain Zeta's product content and collateral plan built around Zeta's corporate message framework and the road-map-driven go to market strategy for Zeta's Marketing Platform and associated products/solutions
  • Drive product messaging and content execution for Zeta's products and solutions with a strong focus on articulating buyer-centric value propositions, proof-points and competitive differentiators
  • Support content creation that contributes to pipeline growth and lead nurturing programs managed by Corporate Marketing – focusing on mid and bottom of funnel activities that drive conversion and retention.
  • Produce and edit content in partnership with Sales Enablement including sales pitches, playbooks, presentation voice overs, pre-determined RFP responses and conversation starters
  • Identify and develop product-based thought leadership pillars in collaboration with Product Marketing leads and SMEs in partnership with Corporate Marketing to develop gated assets, blog posts and bylines

Desired Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in a product or content marketing role preferably in the B2B marketing technology and/or ad-tech space
  • Strong understanding of persona-based and buyer-centric messaging; experience with such methodologies as Pragmatic and Sirius Decisions a plus
  • Natural storytelling ability and a knack for taking complex subject matter and simplifying it for broader or less experienced audiences
  • Strong leadership skills including proven ability to manage a team and facilitate collaboration across multiple departments or teams to achieve goals
  • Experience with diverse product marketing content including collateral, sales presentations, articles and bylines, ebooks and whitepapers, website content and video and demo scripts
  • A clear and confident sense of "what good looks like"
  • Effective working with colleagues in different geographic locations and time zones

Primary Salary Location Range - $120,000 to $150,000
