Director of Pharmacy

As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Director of Pharmacy at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team.

Schedule: This position works at least 40 hours per week primarily Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm; however, may include providing occasional coverage on evenings or weekends as business needs arise.

Pay Range: $200K-$225K based on qualifications.

About the Facility: Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is a state-of-the-art 456-bed facility offering a 24-hour Emergency Department, Level 1 Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, three Family Health Centers, and the only Burn Center serving San Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo and Mono counties. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacies: Arrowhead provides both Outpatient and Inpatient Pharmacy Services. The Inpatient Pharmacy is open 24/7, 365 days a year while the Outpatient Pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-9:00pm and weekends and holidays from 8:00am-7:30pm. The pharmacies utilize Pyxis, EPIC, and FSI.

Required Qualifications:

• BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Current California Pharmacist license in good standing
• Management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment.
• Successful completion of a Pharmacy PGY-1 Residency program strongly preferred
• Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.
• Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• HepB or declination
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
• COVID Vaccine-Full (required)
