Job description

We are currently in search of an experienced Director of Nursing (RN) for our healthcare organization to manage the nursing department at a Memory Care facility.

Duties:

• Will direct the nursing department, to operate with in the regulations and guidelines of the state.
• Work along side the Regional Director of Nursing with developing, maintaining and periodically update written policies and procedures that guide the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department.
• Coordinates with the staffing coordinator to assure coverage at all times.
• Maintains an ongoing quality assurance program
• Trains nursing staff in the proper provision of direct care to residents
• Lead others to assure the proper and adequate care of each and every resident and assure they are living the best life they can.

Qualifications:

• Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas

• 3+ years of supervisor experience is required
• Compassion, professionalism, strong communication and organizational skills needed
• Ability to be a supportive team member and contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
