Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) is currently seeking an individual to lead mental health and substance use Crisis and Single Point of Access (SPOA) Services in Onondaga County. The Director of Crisis and Single Point of Access (SPOA) Services will establish the "Onondaga County Crisis System" to ensure a coordinate community-wide response system is in place to support individuals within the community who are experiencing mental health or substance use crises. As a Director of Crisis and Single Point of Access (SPOA) Services, you would be employed by Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) and would deliver important programs and services to the OnCare / Systems of Care Program which is a partnership among Onondaga County Department of Children and Family Services Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, School Based Initiatives and Children’s Mental Health divisions.

In your role as the Director of Crisis and Single Point of Access (SPOA) Services, you will be

• Develop, plan, implement, evaluate, and continuously monitor a Crisis System that’s effective and grounded in a well-defined philosophy that is collaborative, person centered, culturally responsive, trauma informed and strengths-based ensuring high-quality, impact-oriented services are being delivered.
• Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with law enforcement agencies, County Agencies, local providers, local state Agencies, Peer organizations, local organizations and the individuals served by in the behavioral health system.
• Act as an educator, convener, and information transmitter to all levels of stakeholders from local policy/decision makers to front line workers and their supervisors.
• Oversee the Single Point of Access (SPOA) Team to ensure those in need of services are able to access the system in a timely, equitable, and supportive way.
• Provide supervision to the SPOA Coordinator who is responsible for promoting a flexible service delivery system providing each person the opportunity to negotiate an individual service plan which is specific to his/her needs and preferences and includes input and support of service providers and significant others.
• Conducting other duties as assigned.

• Master’s in human services field plus 5 years of relevant professional experience and/or some advanced hours of training, OR equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart). Licensed professionals encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Class D New York State Driver License and access to motor vehicle insured with $300,000 liability coverage to meet transportation requirements of position.
