POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Corporate Accounting is responsible for directing and coordinating
the financial services provided by Health Dimensions Group (HDG), Health Dimensions Revenue
Professionals (RevGroup), and corporate affiliates. This position also ensures timely and accurate reporting of
financial information.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Oversees and coordinates the preparation of monthly financial statements for HDG, RevGroup, and
  other corporate affiliates; ensures all financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally
  accepted accounting principles and that proper internal controls are in place to support the integrity of
  the financial transactions.
• Serves as the primary point-of-contact for identifying, communicating, researching, and resolving
  accounting issues.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates departmental policies and procedures to ensure consistency with
  HDG’s goals and objectives.
• Directs and monitors all activities related to Corporate Accounts Receivable including, but not limited to:
• Oversees invoice processing for customers.
• Oversees collections of outstanding balances including working with legal firms on collections.
• Directs and monitors all activities related to Corporate Accounts Payable including, but not limited to:
  • Reviews Accounts Payable for receipt of payment.
  • Oversees employee and subcontractor reimbursements.
• Directs and monitor all activities related to the General Ledger system:
• Maintains chart of accounts.
• Enables/disables security access and creates security roles, as necessary.
• Recruits, trains and retains a high performing team that provides a professional experience for all.
• Directs and coordinates yearly financial reporting and oversees any special financial audits that occur
  (IRS, sales tax, etc.).
• Coordinates financial information as necessary for tax return filings as requested by outside Tax
  Accountants.
• Shares responsibilities for cash management activities with the Executive Vice President of Financial Services to include:
• Monitors bank activity.
• Transfers cash as required to cover financial transactions.
• Opens new accounts, as needed.
• Updates signatures, as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge:
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of accounting concepts and software required.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required.
• Skills:
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Abilities:
  • Strong organizational abilities; must be able to work well under pressure, manage multiple
    projects simultaneously, and meet financial deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and
    experience required.
  • 7-10 years of accounting experience required.
  • Previous healthcare environment accounting experience a plus, specifically with Skilled Nursing
    and/or Assisted Living facilities.
  • CPA preferred.
