As the Director of Annual Giving (DAG), your responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating fund development strategies that will engage and motivate donors to meet annual fund development goals. Through effective community engagement strategies and partnerships with business, government, and civic leaders, the DAG is responsible for critical outcomes that center on increased community engagement with our services and products, positive community and employee awareness of agency services and products, and growth of long-term relationships with donors, interns, and volunteers. You must excel at relationship building and adapt your communication style to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders. As the Director of Annual Giving, you will supervise all employees overseeing fundraising events and volunteers.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in positions with increasing responsibility in programming, development, communication, and/or marketing environments or equivalent.
- Basic language, written, and computer skills necessary for communication and documentation.
- Demonstrated relationship skills, knowledge, and experience in community engagement and developing partnerships and collaboration with community leaders. Possess the skills to work with and motivate staff, board members, and other volunteers.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and steward relationships internally and externally.
- Strategic and creative thinker who is comfortable and enjoys working towards data data-driven.
- Ability to learn the story of Pathfinder Services and engage in public presentations to promote the mission.
- Positive attitude and team player who invites creative, collaborative decision-making.
- Excellent ability to interact with people of all backgrounds, abilities, and incomes.
- Have knowledge and proven experience in fundraising techniques.
- Be a self-starter who can initiate donor calls, visits, and tours.
- Possess the skills to work with and motivate staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language.
