Position Summary:
The Director of B2B Operations is a critically important role that will develop the operational plan and execute on the B2B Mobility strategy to serve fleet operators, marketplaces, and mobility platform players. You will report directly into the VP of Mobility.
You are a builder that thrives in going from zero to one, you are curious, data-driven, and you have a strong bias for action. You will build programs and processes toward executing on our Mobility B2B strategy, supporting go-to-market effort, and improving processes. You will work cross-functionality to operationalize new partnerships – being able to draw on your experience. You will help partners access the best of the AutoNation ecosystem as well as build new capabilities where needed. You will support the B2B Mobility partnership delivery and support the ultimate success of each partnership across customer satisfaction, delivery, and realization of the financial revenues / profits.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop the operational plan to deliver on each partnership by engaging with cross-functional leaders- Set up key performance metrics, and reporting, that give AutoNation leaders and partners visibility into progress on delivery and program performance
- Support commercial discussions with key partners working closely with Mobility B2B Partnerships, Aftersales, Finance, and Corp Dev.
- Build the right operating model and organizational structures to efficiently deliver on our partnerships
- Identify operational capability gaps AutoNation needs to fill to deliver on our B2B strategy
- Identify key levers to improve existing programs
Qualifications (Mandatory):
- 7-10+ years of relevant experience in a highly operational and commercial roles supported by a history of delivering clear results
- Project leadership and change management experience
- Strong detail-oriented and analytical thinker – highly data driven; business intelligence experience is a plus
- Evidence of successful complex stakeholder management across a variety of functions
- Balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
Qualifications (Preferred):
- MBA or Master of Science in relevant field
- Prior experience in automotive aftersales, or at a large fleet operator, marketplace or mobility tech platform
