Egnyte’s secure content collaboration and governance platform serves thousands of financial services companies across all sub-industries, including such market leaders as NASDAQ, NFP and Lincoln Financial. Banks, exchanges, broker-dealers, PE firms, VC firms and wealth management companies everywhere rely on us to manage regulated data, collaborate internally and externally, and to protect their data.
We are now hiring a Director of Financial services, to lead our efforts in the industry. As Egnyte’s financial services practice leader you will build and lead our industry team, develop and execute Egnyte’s strategy for growth in the industry and work across the organization to help drive everything from go to market, to product roadmap and customer success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own Egnyte’s financial services KPIs
- Hire and lead Egnyte’s financial services industry team.
- Develop Egnyte’s financial services industry strategy and drive its execution.
- Work cross-functionally with all parts of Egnyte’s organization to drive initiatives and grow the financial services business.
- Collaborate with Egnyte’s marketing team to build our industry specific messaging.
- Identify industry specific use cases, collaborate with Egnyte’s Product team to build industry solutions, and design product packages and pricing to serve the industry.
- Leverage an in depth understanding of industry workflows, complementary software solutions and trends to improve Egnyte’s position and market offering.
- Support key sales cycles as a subject matter expert.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Go to market expertise: 8+ years participating in sales, strategy or marketing within organizations in the financial services industry or in consulting roles serving the industry.
- Domain expertise: meaningful experience working with or for SaaS vendors serving the financial services industry. Solid understanding of the financial services software ecosystem.
- Intrapreneurial: Have a desire to build new initiatives inside a larger, high-growth organization.
- Entrepreneurial: Highly productive self-starter with the passion and motivation to grow the financial services business.
- Experienced Leader: Demonstrated success in leading a team in a high growth environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident public speaker.
- Analytical: Ability to analyze complex situations and drive decisions despite incomplete information.
- Collaboration: Team oriented with an ability to lead in a matrixed environment, with or without formal authority.
- Influence: Ability to build trusted advisor relationships through effective consultation, strategic input, advice, domain expertise, and best practices
