Job Title: Director - Fashion/Apparel Merchandising
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership in merchandising, to retail customers
• Proactively work with sales teams to curate a contextual, comprehensive solution in merchandising domain for customers
• Oversee solution delivery for business transformation programs from a retail domain/business value perspective
• Provide retail domain flavor to the solutions proposed for the merchandising opportunities
• Lead and mentor a team of business consultants/analysts
• Interface with industry analysts to detail our capabilities and experience in merchandising domain.
• Drive knowledge management and process competency development in various account teams
• Collaborate with other functions within TCS to conceptualize retail specific merchandising offerings
• Role requires travel up to 60 – 80% of the time.

Must Have

• Strong experience in fashion/apparel merchandising functions, including merchandising planning, assortment & range, pricing, and markdowns as well as procurement & product lifecycle management
• Must have led multiple large transformation programs in merchandising for fashion/apparel retailers
• Ability to drive engagements fashion/apparel merchandising leadership, focused on business transformation
• Ability to work with customer merchandising leadership to drive improvements to key merchandising metrics
• Ability to lead responses for solution proposals from a domain/business value/KPI perspective
