2. The local Director of Services will contact you for an interview and help you complete your State Qualifications and training

Pay rates range from $17-22/ hour depending on the services the individual receives.
What is a Direct Support Professional (DSP)? DSP's provide support and care to individuals living with intellectual disabilities and autism. We encourage consumers to lead independent lives and help them integrate into their community. Some common job duties could include assisting with life skills, companion care, some personal hygiene, as well as taking the individual out into the community for activities.
