Responsibilities:
What You Will Do?
Assists manager with planning, scheduling, and training front of the house kitchen staff.- Conduct training for new hires and ongoing training programs such as in-services.
- Works collaboratively with Manager, Executive Chef, and Sous Chef on menu changes and communicates changes to staff.
- Works collaboratively with internal GVS departments to ensure smooth operations and quality service
- Responsible for point of service system: adds/updates menus and pricing of items. Coordinates reservations for dining rooms.
- Builds relationships with residents and encourages participation in food service activities
What It Takes To Succeed?
- High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelor’s Degree in restaurant management, culinary, or related field
- One year of relevant work experience and leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
