The Washington Institute for Near East Policy seeks a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter to serve as our Digital Marketing Associate. The DMA will provide essential support for the organization’s communications with donors, policymakers, journalists, and the general public.

Responsibilities include:

1. Overseeing customer-relations databases

2. Updating databases

3. Training staff in the use of databases

4. Creating compelling, effective campaigns and individual communications that drive interactions with Institute publics

5. Supporting the Institute’s social media efforts

6. Supporting the Institute’s webpage

7. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with customer-relations databases

2. Effective oral and written communication in English

3. Familiarity with email campaign systems

4. Familiarity with principles of marketing in a non-profit setting

5. Familiarity with online graphics and design software programs

6. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

7. Skilled in Microsoft Office products

8. Able to work productively with a wide array of people and provide a superior customer experience

9. A confident and professional work style; must have the ability to work independently and to exercise good judgment.

10. Project Management: Manage multiple projects and tasks through to completion in a timely manner. Be flexible, have solid planning, social, and organization skills.

11. Problem Solving: Anticipate needs, actively seek opportunities, and propose solutions with solid decision-making capability. Be self-directed and able to plan and coordinate many projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
