Diesel Mechanic Technician

Job Description:

Hermann Brothers Logging & Construction Inc has a Diesel Truck & Equipment Technician position open:

• We are currently looking for a dependable, qualified, and experienced diesel technicians who have experience with diesel trucks and large equipment.

Minimum requirements:

• Must be able to diagnose and repair diesel trucks, heavy duty logging equipment, industrial equipment.
• Familiar with electronic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work with computers
• An ability to perform specialized repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical and Work Shop Manuals
• Operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
• Preform all work in a safe efficient manner
• An ability to lift, up to 75lbs safely
• Keep work area neat and clean
• Must be self-starter and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and get along well with others
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to be part of a random drug screen program
• Valid driver’s license (CDL A is preferable but not necessary)

This is a full-time position. Wages will depend on experience. Proficient written and oral skills, and an ability to work well with others is required. Pre-employment and random drug screenings as well as a criminal background check will be conducted for anyone offered a position with Hermann Brothers Companies. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

• Port Angeles, WA 98362: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
