Role: Sr. DevOps Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)

Required Skills:

• Strong scripting experience - Unix/Shell Scripting, Python
• Experience in Azure, AWS
• Good experience using Git
• Experience with Java/J2EE application deployment
• Advanced understanding of SaaS solutions hosted in the cloud - AWS
• Advanced understanding of containerization tools -Docker
• Expertise in build and deployment tools - Jenkins, Maven
• Expertise in configuring and scaling MongoDB
• Technical knowledge of Linux & Windows based platforms
• Advanced knowledge of logging, monitoring, configuration management, and release management
• Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, DNS, proxies and load balancers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience:

• 5 years as DevOps engineer and in a cloud environment
• 8 years hands-on experience on DevOps practices
• Experience in an Agile software development environment and strong understanding of SDLC best practices
• Hands on experience developing and maintaining full stack solutions on Cloud (with high availability requirements)
• Understanding of enterprise application technology architecture, components, databases, networking, and infrastructure as code

Desired Skills:

• Software development skills (at least one) C/C++, Ruby, C# or Java
• Understanding of the Mobile (Android, iOS) and Web technology stack (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, REST)
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Chef, Puppet, Kubernetes etc.
• Expertise in Cloud Security best practices, firewalls, IPS/IDS, encryption and incident response
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity experience.
