About being our Design Engineer
KPG Psomas seeks an entry to mid-level Civil Design Engineer. Our engineering group is currently involved in several municipal projects, and our ideal candidate will bring their experience along with a collaborative spirit to begin work on both current and upcoming projects.
KPG Psomas has an excellent reputation with our clients in providing creative, cost-effective solutions in municipal roadway, water, sewer, and stormwater utility projects. We offer an exciting opportunity to support innovative projects as well as contribute to larger integrated project assignments. As an integrated design firm, we offer a unique opportunity for our engineers to work in partnership with other disciplines on a variety of endeavors.
Responsibility Highlights for our Design Engineer
- Set-up and draft construction plans for roadway and utility design using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Perform quantity calculations and cost estimates
- Attend meetings with both clients and stakeholders
- Field visits during design process and project support during construction
Minimum Qualifications to be our Design Engineer
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
Preferred Qualifications for our Design Engineer
- 2+ years of professional experience
- EIT Certification a plus
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency
- Ability to handle multiple project commitments
