Capital Dental is searching for a full-time Expanded Practice Hygienist to work on Sweet Home Medical Clinic co- location.

As an EPDH working within a primary care medical clinic, this position allows you to work independently, at the top of your license in collaboration with an offsite dentist. Our hope with this position is that the hygienist (EPDH) would be very entrepreneurial and proactive, taking charge of their schedule and patient base to help improve access to care for our members.

Location:

Position Details:

• Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
• Reasonable patient load at an average of 8 patients per day
• Serve as the Oral Health Champion in the hospital setting.
• Collaborate with medical providers to provide close integration of oral health and primary care.
• Provide dental hygiene services and education in hospital setting

Position Qualifications:

• Accredited Hygiene Technical School or College
• Current applicable State Dental License (or the ability to acquire one by the time of employment)
• Oregon EPDH license
• Other licenses/certifications such as CPR, local certified anesthesia
• Experience preferred
