Responsibilities:
- Open and close the back office as instructed
- Prepare trays for various procedures
- Ensure that operatories are stocked and cleaned at all times
- Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments
- Assist the dentist during various procedures and rotate with dentists requested
- Explain treatment plans to patients, register patients
- Assist with other duties from dentist, office manager, biller and receptionist when needed
Qualifications:
- Dental assistant certification from a credited college or school
- Current x-ray license for California
- Current CPR
- Able to follow and understand OSHA compliance
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures
- Able to assist with all general dental procedures
- Specialty dental assisting experience is a big plus
- Knowledge of dental software /computer literate a must
- Able to work a flexible schedule
