Responsibilities:
  • Open and close the back office as instructed
  • Prepare trays for various procedures
  • Ensure that operatories are stocked and cleaned at all times
  • Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures and rotate with dentists requested
  • Explain treatment plans to patients, register patients
  • Assist with other duties from dentist, office manager, biller and receptionist when needed

Qualifications:
  • Dental assistant certification from a credited college or school
  • Current x-ray license for California
  • Current CPR
  • Able to follow and understand OSHA compliance
  • Knowledge of sterilization procedures
  • Able to assist with all general dental procedures
  • Specialty dental assisting experience is a big plus
  • Knowledge of dental software /computer literate a must
  • Able to work a flexible schedule
