Procedures that are done in-office include but are not limited to the following:

Crowns/Veneers, Composite Fillings

Implant placement and restoration

Extractions/Bone Graft

Root canals

Knowledge of CBCT and panoramic scans are helpful but not necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Answer calls/ make appointments/ collect fees

- Make patients comfortable and prepare them for treatment.

- Digital Xrays, Panoramic Xrays

- Record, obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient.

- Prepare treatment rooms, tray setups for dental procedures.

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.

- Prepare materials for making impressions and restorations.

- Assist the Dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.

- Input treatment plan as Dr presents

- Comply with office policies and procedures, safety, OSHA and MSDS guidelines.

- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

- Working knowledge of approved Dental Assistant functions.

- Some chairside experience (School experience does not count) - X-Ray license and CPR certification

Job Type: Part-time

We are open: Monday, Wednesday, Fridays

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

All patients are required to wear a mask, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, and all CDC precautions are being met.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Certified Dental Assisting License (Preferred)
  • X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
