What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Delivery Operations Manager to lead the daily operation and success of our Waukesha, WI facility. This position will also participate in planning, developing and implementing optimum service delivery strategies to achieve desired results.

What you’ll do:

• Lead a team of approximately 8 people
• Oversee and manage operational activities for warehouse locations including budget, staffing, KPIs and record keeping
• Resolve customer service issues and operational issues and implement process improvements to ensure effective and smooth-flowing operations of warehouse location(s)
• Work with division management, transportation and other departments to coordinate and improve service

What you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in warehousing and/or logistics operations, including a minimum of 2 years of experience supervising employees and implementing cost-saving measures
• Demonstrated knowledge of warehousing and logistics operations

• Communicating and negotiating effectively with internal and external partners in written, oral and interpersonal form
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and mentor employees
• Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism
• Achieving results through team efforts, challenging established practices and drawing relevant conclusions
• Ability and willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions to market and sell new ideas within the division
