Job description

Deliver/stock/merchandise beer products to/for area supermarkets, convenience stores, bars, restaurants, etc. for a local wholesaler in the Asheville, NC area. There is no travel associated with this job; you are at home every night and off every weekend. Represent national and local beer brands. A CDL is NOT required but all applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen and DOT physical . All applicants must be able to provide a clean criminal background check and a clean driving record. Work is Monday through Friday, generally 6 AM to 4 PM. Job is hard, physical work and involves repetitive lifting/moving product. Starting salary as a "trainee" is $700 per week with the ability increase to $800 (potentially $900) per week after obtaining your CDL. We provide in-house training and testing for your Class A CDL. Average annual salary after being placed on a permanent delivery route is $58,000. Eligible for benefits package including excellent, low cost health/dental/retirement insurance/benefits after 90 days on the job. Retirement plan is 100% company funded. Company has been in business for 90 years and has never had a single "lay off" or downsizing. We also promote within our own company for sales and management positions; we do not hire from outside our organization for such promotions
