Deburring Operators for tool & die company in their Turning Department. Company is located in the Lake Forest CA area. Great opportunity and growth potential with a stable company.

These positions are for
1st Shift - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday

OR

2nd Shift - 3:15 pm - 11:45 pm

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week. Temporary to Hire. Company will complete full background check prior to start. Pay is $16/hr.

Responsibilities:

Perform precision deburring of machined parts, minor inspection, and processing production. Make sure that all parts ran are accurate and meet specified criteria.

Assemble parts.

As needed, use calipers and microscopes to accurately measure.

Processes include hand deburring of a variety of parts and features using hand tools, tumbling, sanding, deburring wheel, grinding, polishing, washing, and drying.

Materials include aluminum, plastics, stainless steels, etc.

Count parts and fill-out the appropriate paperwork daily. Proceed to turn in the finished parts to QC for shipping.

Maintain a clean work area.

Perform regular maintenance on machines, as per machine manual.

Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

Min 6 months experience working with small parts in machine shop.

Deburring experience is a MUST.

Basic Measuring Experience.

High Attention to Detail.

Must have basic mathematics ability for adding/subtracting decimals and fractions; must be able to read prints and understand dimensional tolerances.

Desire to learn new trade - company will provide training and guidance.

Knowledge of computers is desired.

Creativity, Initiative and the ability to work independently is a MUST

Good verbal and written communication skills

Essential duties require frequent reaching above shoulder level, standing, walking, and manual dexterity for handling small objects.

Average lifting is up to 25 lbs.

In this position, employees are exposed to noise, dust and fumes, and working around moving machinery.
