Your Role

Atlas Copco Comptec LLC, located in Voorheesville, NY, is seeking an Deburr/Clean Hydro Worker. The primary objectives of this position include:

Responsible for deburring, cleaning, hydro & washing of all major compressor components such as, but not limited to, Compressor Castings, Entry Flange/Shrouds and Gear Casings per work instructions.

Perform the following tasks in the deburr, clean & hydro area of the Core Manufacturing Cell to meet production and quality goals.

• Perform deburr, clean and hydro testing of finished machined housings, shrouds and gearboxes in accordance with established procedures.
• Document the results of hydro testing electronically and make sure all other process documentation is filled out correctly.
• As a member of the Core Manufacturing Cell this employee has responsibility to participate in continuous improvement of process and tools used in this area.
• To comply with Safety Rules, Regulations and OSHA Requirements

To succeed, you will need

Have high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent with background in mechanical handwork to operate basic hand tools. This employee must be capable of learning new skills including the basic use of computers, quality conscious and be able to work as a team member

The salary range for this position is $17.20 to $27.00 an hour.
